Name: Haroch
Age of Character: several hundred years (like somewhere in the 600s)
Biography: once, Terium was a Human bandit that had caused much suffering to the island, but then while on his way to another village to slaughter, some monsters showed up and damaged him badly, he was found by the local priest who showed kindness to him, but even while heavily injured and crippled, the bandit wanted to see this man's kindness tainted with despair and hatred. so he laid in the cave where he was kept and given care, when the priest left, some demons happened upon the cave, he told them to devour him, and become one with his flesh, those words unlocked a dark power within his soul as the demons devoured him, instead of leaving nothing behind, it left behind a darkness that lay in that very spot even to this day, no plant life ever grows there, that cave became known to be cursed. the dark magic that came from his soul made those demons become one with him. from that day forward he was now known as Haroch. Haroch shape shifted into the priest while he was away and butchered several of the villagers, then he left and watched as the priest came back and was executed by the villagers that Haroch slaughtered, he felt such joy seeing the act, watching that look on the priest's face as he was killed by the very people he cared for.
Haroch then left the area, changing into his new form, he absorbed monsters as he went, and found that he could lose a limb, and use the flesh of the monsters he's absorbed to regrow it. he also found that he could project a poisonous gas, he used it to destroy a radius of trees, he killed and skinned a monster and used it's skinned fur as a cloak, it's skull as a helmet.
Being sealed for 500 years was rather irritating, but it was but just a small set back, they never did count on the fact that he could still devour monsters who came near the seal and because of those monsters he knew precisely what went on in all those years. over the many years since he was released he watched as things developed, staying hidden and making plans, he also kept subtly absorbing monsters as time went on, doing so at a rate that the humans and other intelligent races don't notice a thing. he walks about in Yssam, knowing that the time to begin his plan is coming close...

Appearance: (What does he/she look like?)
his human form(which is what he takes most of the time, the face he had when he was a bandit, though it is altered a bit), he has long black hair, with bangs on his face, he has red eyes which signify the fact that he's a demon. his facial structure is one that would be considered quite attractive to women. he looks like a man in his 20s, his face looks somewhat aristocratic, but at the same time rough to show that he's not one to be pushed around. he is 6' 1" tall, and has a swimmer's build. when not in public but still in human form, he will wear armor made of monster bones.
Personality: he is a cruel demon, his memories of being a bandit do help him in knowing how to manipulate humans, he enjoys torturing others, he cares not for the lives of his minions but if they prove themselves to be a true asset he will make sure they are kept alive, he is a master manipulator and escape artist and is willing to play dirty to win..
Weapons: he is VERY resourceful, he can hold any weapon that isn't a holy weapon. he much prefers to use his own abilities as his weapon but there are times when he will use a sword. he is highly skilled with the blade as well, experience from when he was a bandit.
Magic: Dark, Demonic magic, projection of poison gas, the ability to absorb flesh into the body, eject it to make pawns to use for his bidding, use absorbed flesh to regenerate lost limbs or even to mutate the body in order to make use of the flesh as weapons. when in complete human form, he can use the flesh to harden and ensure it is harder to take him apart. he can hide his demonic aura to an extent to make sure that most people can't detect his energy. masters at detecting demonic energy can detect it though if they focus enough. he likes to study dark rituals and such, he knows how to put bloodline curses on people, ones that will last until he is ever killed or temporarily removes it himself...at this point he is capable of planting part of himself into a person without their notice, getting his body destroyed, then resurrecting himself by using said person as a host to do it...he's done this a few times to lure out targets then suddenly coming back to absorb them. he can do this on monsters as well, the catch is that he can only plant said piece in one person and can only have one copy of the piece at a time...
when absorbing something, his body will unleash tentacles that grab, tear apart and then drag the parts into Terium's flesh, said parts then become absorbed into him. he is also a shapeshifter.
using a ritual, he can force monsters to fight eachother in a battle royale, last one standing wins sort of thing, each winner will have the flesh of their victims fused into them. when the last monster stands, he will activate the ritual and force the winner along with all the body parts of the other monsters to become fused with him. this is how he can make himself even stronger then before.

hives of flying insects that he makes from his flesh, these serve as spies to watch over things or retrieve other items he may have use for. their also used as counters in case those he puts a curse on tries to use said curse against him.
